My water broke yesterday afternoon at 6:30pm. It quite freaked me out because I had just been arguing with Michael that I was not going back to the hospital until my water broke. About 30 seconds after that I stood up off the couch so that I could go pee because it felt like I had been holding my bladder for ages on end.

Low and behold here comes the rush and my thought of “Well that is not pee!” Thankfully Michael’s mom had just gotten off work, michael was just getting off work and my parents were easily available. It was a long and hard process. Emily was being a little stubborn one and it took awhile to get her here but thankfully not as long as it did with Brittny.

At 4:57pm March 14th, 2009 Emily Grace Tilson was born after only 8 minutes of pushing. It took awhile to get to that stage of pushing but it went super fast after that stage arrived. She is so precious and I cannot wait for Brittny to meet her little sister. She is doing really good. She weighed 5lbs 4.3oz 18 3/4 inches long and has a 12 1/2 inch head. She couldn’t be more perfect.

My Dad and Michael ran to Target to get some pictures developed for my parents and his mom and as well for us. I’m going to try and get the pictures posted on here so that everyone can see them! I am so excited and blessed to have two beautiful little girls. I think it is just now setting in on me 4 hours after she was born what has all happened in the last few days. Michael and I are both overjoyed. Welcome to the world Divine Miss Em!

So in the last few weeks alot has gone on. I have been in the hospital three times. Not exactly my idea of fun. I’m having the same problem that I did with Brittny. I have been “in labor” for a week now. Emily is healthy and fine and according to the blood tests they did her lungs are developed etc… and would do fine if born now.

Me being such a small person probably has alot to do with it. I simply wasn’t built to carry babies. She is measuring big. She is measuring at 36 weeks instead of 34. I kind of knew that was going to happen because Michael was quite a large baby at birth.

We’re basically in waiting now to whenever Emily wants to say hi. The labor with no progression part really sucks but I know the extra days in there are doing her good. I do think it will be in the next two weeks that I have her. My body is doing everything that it did before I had Brittny. What matters most to me though is that she is healthy. Which she is.

Everyone keep me in your prayers cause with the contractions getting stronger and still no Emily it is getting really hard to not get discouraged and just give up. But I know that I can’t do that. Like I have told everyone unless I have an appendage sticking out of me or my water breaks im not going back to the hospital.

Keep you fingers crossed. I put a new picture up…
